Review of Rocket Science (2007) by Sam N — 04 Jan 2013
Although Rocket Science keeps you on your feet guessing until the end, the motives and reasoning of several characters from Anna Kendrick's Ginny's decision to leave the team to Ben Wekselbaum's decision to quit the team continue to befuddle me.
In the end, it seems the boy would couldn't (Hal Hafner) is the only one who we can relate to, but everyone can draw akin to his seemingly inexplicable struggles at this game we call life. By depicting a outcast we can finally connect to, in light of an all too familiar high school setting, Jeffrey Biltz's comedy demonstrates the gravity of a coming of age story.
