Wow, I would never have guessed that this would have received such bad reviews. I loved it. It takes awhile for the plot to develop, but once it does, it's awesome. As a woman, I enjoyed watching the contrasting characters of Merci and Salima, and I actually cried at the end of the movie.
My husband also enjoyed watching a movie about Afghanistan that wasn't a 'war movie.'.
