A must watch for rock enthusiasts, the plot follows Chris Cole and his rise to stardom (as well as portraying the excess that was running rampant in the scene) when he gets through an audition for his favorite band.
The voice of Michael Matijevic (Steelheart) singing as Chris in the movie had already done me in from the first Steel Dragons song, not to mention the killer guitars of Zakk Wylde on some of the songs.
Great rock and roll movie with a strong message. 4 stars for the soundtrack, the excess and the attitude.
