Review of Rock Star (2001) by Naiwa N — 03 Sep 2010
This was a fairly enjoyable film if you can get into a storyline about a rock star. Mark Wahlberg pulled this role off well, but it was at times still hard to picture the ex Marky Mark artist as a rock star in heavy metal.
I don't know much about the rock and roll lifestyle, other than that of "sex, drugs, and rock & roll", but this film is probably pretty accurate in portraying what it is really like for rock stars, and their families or girlfriends, which is actually pretty disgusting in many ways.
Other than that, though it was kind of a pointless film.
