Review of Rock Star (2001) by Chris O — 22 Dec 2010
Inspired by the true story of Ripper Owens taking over for Rob Halford in Judas Priest, and featuring Jason Bonham, Zaak Wylde and Jeff Pislon playing metal gods, this movie is entertaining enough. The two best features are the music, and Jennifer Anniston.
The lead character quitting metal to go emo-folkie-grunge at the end sort of ruined it for me though.
