Review of Rock Star (2001) by Frank N — 16 Jul 2010
This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The whole cast of the movie fit the bill perfect. Mark Wahlberg fills this kind of role perfectly (See Invincible as well). This movie was Jennifer Aniston's best role ever, and I include Friends in that assessment.
I can watch this movie over and it never gets old. In addition, I feel that the soundtrack fit the movie like a glove. As a fan of 1980's hair metal, it was perfect, especially with musicians like Zakk Wylde, Jeff Scott Soto, Jason Bohnam, and several others in it, it gave a feeling of authenticity to this movie.
I highly recommend it.
