Review of Rock Star (2001) by Nick B — 17 Dec 2009
This is just one of those movies that takes you back to the big hair and glam rock/metal of the 80's. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg who gets to become the lead singer of his favorite rock band Steel Dragon during a falling out with the original singer.
The movie has some original rock music made for just the movie. It ws quite good to my surprise. Plus you get music in there from Kiss, Motley Crue and Bon Jovi. The story is decent and has a solid supporting cast.
It was entertaining enough. Worth a one time watch.
