Review of Rock School (2005) by Scott P — 24 Feb 2008

This was boring. Paul Green was a little too harsh on his students. And the way those kids ran their lives was horrible! I doubt any of them ever get into the "hard rock" scene.

There was a young kid singing about drugs. I couldn't believe it. That's sad.

My sister and I were watching the documentary with our jaws dropped. I didn't even see Paul Green teaching the kids to actually play, all he did was yell at them and tell them to pick back up their notes. He could have joined in with them and showed them how to play.

I think there were only two kids who were actually good. Other than that, all those other kids just didn't seem to know how to play very well.

Great idea for the movie "School of Rock" and maybe a great idea to get kids into music, just I don't think I would want to see young kids cussing in metal music. It's horrible.
