That teacher's a plain old-fashioned bully. As others here have mentioned, the interviews with the kids are charming and compelling, and its obvious that somehow the guy's methods work for them to some extent.
"School of Rock" was a funny movie, but in real life Jack Black probably would have been imprisoned, as should Paul Green. Then he should be set on fire and beaten with 2x4s with nails in them.
