The movie is entertaining, the songs are great, but I felt the songs chosen were more from the Glam Rock, hence the pop rock, of the 80s rather than the full view of what rock was all about in that decade.
I mean Soundgarden, AC/DC, Nirvana and The Red Hot Chili Peppers (and many other rock bands from that era) were all missing. Just because of that, the movie felt bland and should have been called "Pop of Ages" in my opinion.
