It's almost embarrassing the cast assembled for this is doing this work (well.... not for Julianne Hough, Mary J Blige I guess). But Bryan Cranston? Alec Baldwin? Tom Cruise? Paul Giamatti? These four cannot sing, yet they are paroused through this strange musical adaptation of the broadway play.
Don't get my wrong, I like some of the songs that are here, the only problem is these are actors not artists and the singing is atrocious. And not really to the fault of the movie, but the songs come in so randomly, it's almost as if you're just watching a giant joke music video on Funny or Die.
Vile.
