Some wonderful song and dance routines liven up an otherwise lacklustre effort in which the supporting plays steal the show. Catherine Zita-Jones is particularly in fine form here with fun turns from Tom Cruise, Sacha Baron Cohen and Alec Baldwin, but lifeless leads Diego Boneta and Julianne Hough lack chemistry and fail to ignite the screen.
