It is very easy to criticise a movie for being too cliche, not making use of its full potential, or being too generic. But is that really a problem? A movie needs to be interesting, a little fun, and engaging, and for me, Rock Of Ages does all that, and depicts the love story of a boy and girl immensely well.
So that makes it worthwhile.
