Review of Robots (2005) by Kaitlyn S — 09 Feb 2010
Got around to seeing this one now that it's five years old!
In a robotic society, a young robot comes of age during a dramatic corporate take-over that tries to "out-mode" old bots which can't afford shiny upgrades. The backdrop theme is therefore one of "justice for all and power to the people".
In the foreground it's a cute comedy with plenty of laughs. Some of the humor was really clever, and yet as they always seem to on these newer animated films, they go a bit too far.
All in all it wasn't bad, but it could have been much better.
