Review of Robots (2005) by Nick W — 10 Jul 2011
After winning over the hearts and minds of young people everywhere with Ice Age, directors Carlos Saldanha and Chris Wedge team up for yet another heartwarming adventure. Rodney is an excellent protagonist, comepltely uncorruptable and eager to help.
Bigweld is the perfect mentor, wise and caring. Ratchet provides your a-typical villain, sadistic and greedy. But the performance that truly steals the show is that of Robin Williams as Fender. Funny, original, and able to have viewers talking and giggling long after the film reaches it's end.
