Better than I thought it would be, not as good as it could have been. It starts out interesting, but as the movie goes on it gets more conventional. Like putting a square peg into a round hole (or whatever the expression is).
Stuart Gordon does what he can with the so-so script and the low budget, so it's still entertaining despite the last battle sequence being overlong and that space sequence being WAY cheesy.
