This movie didn't seem to know where to go next. It was choppy, muddled, and tiresome. The characters were two-dimensional, the plot was tediously predictable, the humor flat. Liv Tyler was hugely irritating as the well-intentioned daughter.
I'm amazed this film has garnered so many glowing reviews. Very disappointing.
