Review of RoboCop 3 (1993) by Troy F — 22 May 2010
Robocop 3 really showed that the series had already fallen apart! Peter Weller (Robocop in the first two films) dropped out and was now played by Robert John Burke (he was meh), and the movie was toned down to a PG-13 rating (supposedly, the studio Orion was going out of business, so they had a chance to make more money considering this more approachable rating).
Robocop 3 is more campier, and real corny, which just doesn't fit in with the other movies in the series, which were more darker and violent. I really wouldn't bother with this sequel unless you really feel that you have to watch it!
