I can just imagine some studio execs sitting around a big ass table stating the following;.

"Hey you know we haven't ruined a really entertaining franchise in a while, how about robocop?... well lets see, hey you know if we got rid of the violence we'll get rid of the black humour which is what makes this franchise so appealing, yeah...we'll do something different with robocop...I know lets make him fly... how does he get the jetpack?!..Oh that rubbish isn't important. What bad guy should we make him face... I know ninja's ..lets have mechanical ninja's.....yeah, ninja's kick ass.".

I hope somebody is being slapped for this incredible waste of time.

(one star for at least keeping in the commercials).
