Review of RoboCop 3 (1993) by Andrew B — 02 Nov 2012
Certainly not a good film, but pasable as dumb popcorn material. While it's a shame to see a surprisingly smart and sophisticated IP reach this level of storytelling ineptitude, the film is at least watchable.
Robo is played by a different actor this time around, with Peter Weller preoccupied with the making of Cronenberg's deliciously bizarre Naked Lunch and the role going to Robert John Burke instead.
He does a respectable job, but the script doesn't allow for anything spectacular.
