Review of RoboCop 3 (1993) by Ian R — 09 Feb 2014
This film is not the greatest and bookends a sad decline in the Robocop trilogy. In general, the story is good as it continues with the arc of OPC's attempt to privatize and own Detroit City, which is a concept I enjoy.
However, like Robocop 2, the fail to delve into the human story of Robocop enough. Also, this film has toned down violence and a child side-kick, making it feel very diluted compared to the first film.
The special effects are not great and detract from the film. It does have a few funny lines here and there, but in the end, it just doesn't hold up to the rest of the series.
