Jose really dropped the ball on this one.
I mean...sweet film gods...what the hell did we make ourselves watch? What the f*** was this mess? Why did it feel like he tried to put all three of thee of the previous RoboCop movies together in broken bits and pieces, and then decided at the last minute to try to shoehorn in some stuff to try to make it relevant?
It has...SOME satirical chuckles in there like the original...but compared to it's predecessor, it fell REALLY short.
The visual effects are nice....but the way they changed parts of the story around from the original, and made their weird casting choices, is very lacking in any integrity. Even Samuel Jackson could not save this b*tch.
And trust me, this movie LOOKS--like-a-B*TCH!
If you can't stand the welling curiosity and you just HAVE to see this movie...please see it with a group of at least three friends. The more viewers to single viewing ratio there is of this not-RoboCop, the more money "Hollow-wood" will deservedly lose money on this gilded turd.
Otherwise...just do yourself a great service and go watch the original.
