Review of RoboCop (2014) by Borhan K — 26 Jul 2014
RoboCop Rebooted it tells the same story but with more gadgets and special effects.
The only part in this movie I did not like was the start how they based this movie testing robotics in Iran and then an Iranian group turned out to be villains kinda put a damper in the movie for me.
Other than that I was surprised at the new version.
We had Samuel L Jackson being part of the media and Gary Oldman play a Dr of robotics and we had Michael Keaton the Original Batman turning into the evil Dark Knight putting profit over humanity.
The movie is a blokey film and is aimed for 15 year old males/.
The story tries to bring an emotional element to the story but you do not feel like you connect.
Even there was a strange link to The Wizard of OZ music playing at some stage in the movie.
The part I really enjoyed was the medical science in the movie I wonder if we can get to a stage in our humanity where we can put robotic parts on humans and they can live functional lives again.
That would be a great feat.
