Review of RoboCop (2014) by Lou A — 26 Jul 2014
Nearly nowhere as good as the original, but still very entertaining with an outstanding cast (Oldman is great and Kinnaman and the rest of the cast are very good). This more serious retread works shockingly well on its own terms as a political-satire blended with sci-fi action.
The directing is fairly stylish and the story has inventive ideas of modernizing the concept, and is decidedly a lot different.
