Review of RoboCop (2014) by Olli H — 02 Mar 2015
The original "Robocop" is an ultra-violent action classic and upon hearing about this remake all I thought was cuss words. Now I've seen it and I'm still not impressed. Sure there was the same theme song and (very forced) classic line "dead or alive, you're coming with me" but the story was weak, Samuel L.
Jackson's character funny but reduntant and the action was mostly CGI-crap. Joel Kinnaman was ok as the titular character but nowhere near a good as Peter Weller was in the original.
