Review of RoboCop (2014) by David G — 19 Jul 2015
There's an old saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Robocop is a fine example of that. Characters are limited to becoming stock, indecisive and inconsistent. The action is dull and un exciting.
The plot only creates a few interesting concepts but it never pays off with it's lackluster commentary. It also takes away the human element of the character Alex Murphy making him more artificial and less interesting.
The best thing that can be said is that it's better than 3, but inferior to 1 & 2.
