Review of RoboCop (2014) by Ray O — 26 Jul 2014

This, I feel, is an excellent story that explains many things we did not see in the original movies; however it also skips quite a few things. I fear viewers that did not see any of the original RoboCop movies will be lost and bored, as I found myself explaining many things to my girlfriend while we watched the movie.

It was very enjoyable for me, however seemed to do little more than bore her. This would have been great as a 'prequel' as it goes more in depth and slightly changes the original story. Hopefully they'll tempt at a second movie and bring about more action and more of the story line as OCP takes over the police dept.

All in all for those who saw the originals; awesome job. However to look at it as a person new to RoboCop; horribly explained, very slow and quite boring. This really could have been done better to entice both types of audiences.
