Review of RoboCop 2 (1990) by Andrew G — 12 Oct 2009
As a sequel to the original RoboCop, RoboCop 2 doesn't even feel like a film about RoboCop. Sure, there's the trouble and the fact that he can no longer see his family that were present before he was killed, but it focuses more on different people and had it not been for the scenes with RoboCop, it could have been a completely different Science Fiction film.
While the action is great, the acting is poor and like I said, it doesn't even feel like a RoboCop film. What annoyed me the most was the unoriginal and completely pointless one-liners that made the film feel even dumber and unentertaining.
