Review of RoboCop 2 (1990) by Paul C — 27 Oct 2008
What strikes me the most about Robocop 2 is the series bizarrely devolves into a B movie franchise... Bad acting, bad casting, bad direction, bad production values, and bad writing. I think Frank Miller has somehow been rehashing the same 3 characters for 20 years now.
There are germs of interesting ideas in this story... like Robocop grasping for his humanity and stalking his ex-wife. But nothing is done with them. It's a disappointment. I'd be interested in seeing a Robocop reboot though.
