While not better than the first, Robocop 2 is still a great film regardless of it's flaws. It's more cartoonish and comic book like than the first one. The action is slightly more violent than in the first(Cain torturing the corrupt cop).
While the effects are dated, simplified characters and has a wonky plot, the movie is still a fun sci-fi flick.
