Review of RoboCop (1987) by Matthew A — 22 Aug 2012
In the near future, crime has escalated to the point where supercops enter the fray in order to fight crime. After a Detroit officer dies in the line of duty, he provides the perfect opportunity to test out the city's supercop program.
Director Paul Verhoeven tells a very bleak and violent story, but it's slick entertainment that boasts excellent stop-motion effects...ED 209 is a stunner.
