Review of RoboCop (1987) by James S — 10 Mar 2013
I can't believe I only just saw this last week. This is easily one of the most badass films I have ever seen. It is almost embarassing to think that 25 years later, Judge Dredd came out and was not even close to Robocop in quality. Just goes to show how good Robocop is I suppose. The villains are as evil as they come (even if they do have that 80's blundering oaf feel to them". The hero is just that - a hero. There is no romantic love story pish going on. Mostly, this film was loaded with epic quotes, too many to list. My favourite scene, without spoiling anything, is the "you're fired" moment. Can't wait to see the sequels.
Anyone who is reading this - don't waste your time watching modern nonsense like Iron Man or Judge Dredd or the latest Terminator crap. Get this on!
