Review of RoboCop (1987) by Guido S — 13 Sep 2013
I'd figure I would watch this with the remake coming out next year. Peter Weller transfers divisions and on a bust, he ends up dying because backup doesn't come in time. OCP is working on robotic officers and he becomes the one to go through it.
He is able to work around the clock, have super strength, and be nearly indestructible. With precision aiming and decision making and without any human emotions, he is almost the perfect cop. Eventually, his memories and his past start to bleed through and begin to haunt him.
He discovers OCP is out to destroy him and goes on a mission to stop them first. Still holds up extremely well as a movie and with the special effects.
