Review of RoboCop (1987) by Ibraheem M — 19 Feb 2014
The title doesn't lead one to believe that this movie is actually a social commentary on capitalist corruption and soulless corporations, which pleasantly surprised me. The dystopian futures presented in 80's films relied on story, not CG (although the makeup in this film is impressive), and while this has a lot of Hollywood to it, there's a real grit.
