Review of RoboCop (1987) by Miguel R — 27 Jul 2015
Not a perfect movie but a fun romp at any rate. Now you look at this movie in present time, it sort of got Detroit right on how it would look where many other futuristic movies are way off. If anything the movie maybe under did how bad Detroit would look in the future.
. Now I'm talking about the 1987 version, the 2014 Robocop is a stinker. But it's themes of corporate greed and trying to make good out of the muck ring true. Great performances by Kurtwood Smith as the main antagonist and Ronny Cox (as the man pulling the strings of all the corruption).
