Review of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991) by Robert H — 07 Jun 2010

I had never seen this version, but watched it after watching the Russell Crowe Robin Hood, which is far better than this one - mostly due to Kevin Costner being a little unbelieveable as Robin - at least Rusty doesn't sound American! There's lots of hole's - why was he in prison, when/how did he learn to be an archer, the reason for Morgan Freeman even being here! Alan Rickman's fun, but not really that convincing either and it's fun enough, but just not anything great.
