Review of Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991) by Zebulon R — 18 Feb 2012
The greatest movie ever made gets better every single time I watch it. I love hipster robin hood and even hipper will scarlet with their layered scarves and armwarmers. I love maid marion's frizz-free curls, and alan rickman's scenery chewing, and kevin costner's nude bathing scene.
I love the heroic and noble and french horn heavy opening music and the sappy sentimental closing love song. I love the eclectic direction, from the gorgeous mists in the lakes and forests to the hilariously random close up's.
most of all, I love that robin and azeem land at the white cliffs of dover and robin thinks he's going to make it all the way to nottingham on foot by night. good archer, but not the best at geography.
I watch this movie every day by the way.
