Review of Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993) by Rach P — 02 Jan 2013
I love and respect Mel Brooks, but the reality is he is very hit and miss for me. I know a lot of people have love for this and watching it again for the first time in almost 20 years, I enjoyed...but I noted a lot more misses than hits in the joke department.
It has suffered a fair amount as the years have worn on, unlike its predecessor Spaceballs which is still a brilliant film to this day. Fun to see Richard Lewis in anything as it was interesting to see a young Chappelle.
Outside of that and the occassional chuckle it is largely not worth a third viewing.
