Like many of Brooks movies this really should have been better. The major problem is that it's a one-joke movie. While Star Wars was enough to carry Spaceballs, the various Robin Hood movies seem lacking in material here.
Elwes is excellent, though it's difficult to see past the Dread Pirate Roberts!
