All these negative reviews seem to just be annoyed at the fact it doesn't tell the usual Robin Hood tale. If ever a story needed a radically different realistic take, it was this one. ( Different from traditional Robin Hood - it is fairly standard for historical epic, but Ridley Scott is one of the only directors left who can make good historical epics) As always, Ridley Scott is the master of clear action directing.
