Review of Robin Hood (2010) by Andy S — 06 Apr 2012
A by-the-numbers "historical" epic with the showmanship of a talented director, lacking in emotional weight but making up for it with good casting and production value. Sure, it's a temp track to Gladiator, and a watered down Braveheart, but its by no means bad.
Its setup for what I imagine could be a sweet sequel, if it ever comes into being. This is the lamb that will become the lion.
