Review of Robin Hood (2010) by Tim K — 16 Apr 2012
The action sequences were nice and pretty decent, but I felt antsy in my chair watching this and I almost tried to occupy myself with something else to do. Its not a great reamke at all. Its like watching a cheap knock off of the original, but I liked the acton sequences and the visuals were cool and some really great stunts.
I was not in my house watching so I could not skip some parts to the action scenes. Because the dialouge was just bad and I could tell there was two writers because it looked like even some of the actors were confused by the writing, it seemed almost bipolar.
Ridley Scott is extremely talented director and I dont think he is the first to blame for this movie, I thought Ruseel Crowe gave his all, but the rest of the cast that surrouned seemed mediocre and almost untalented.
So the main flaw with this movie was really almost everything excpet action. And because the action scenes were well done the film is decent. I have not watched the original in forever and I dont know it well enough to give it a review but I know its better than this.
