Review of Robin Hood (2010) by Paul D — 18 Mar 2013
Probably not the story you're expecting, but this prequel to the more famous stories of Robin Hood is equally entertaining. Ridley Scott definitely shows us some Gladiator flair but while still differentiating enough to stay true to the tale of Robin Hood, giving it a feeling of originality and not just another Gladiator movie.
I for one found the story to be just as if not more interesting than the traditional tales of the outlawed rebel fighting against tyranny. There's more depth and allowance for attachment to the characters (unless you're rooting for the French).
Overall I enjoyed the movie and I think it's deserving of a sequel to continue the legend of Robbin Longstride.
