Similar plot style to Game of Thrones, but lacks the complexity, similar theme to Gladiator, but lacks the adventure, and the scale of the battles are comparable to The Lord of the Rings film , but lack the emotion.
I think we can allow a film to lack a few things if otherwise it achieved it's purpose pretty well.
