Review of Robin Hood (2010) by Cardin L — 19 Jul 2012
So much for being named Robin Hood. Ignoring the fact that the film has nothing to do with archers, merry men, or historical accuracy, the film still has a pretty messy plot.
Too many ideas and plot points were crammed into this movie, with Robin Longstrike (Robin Hood) becoming everything from an amazing swordsman to a revolutionary of freedom and equality. Ironically, if they stopped cramming in awkward sequences where Robin actually uses his bow, or the presence of his lackeys and jungle boys, the film would have been better off with a less mish-mash plot.
Neither too horrid, nor enjoyable.
