Review of Robin Hood (2010) by Loderunner R — 06 Dec 2012
I found myself looking at my watch multiple times asking myself when this shitty movie would be over. If Russell Crowe's character wasn't named Robin Hood, there is no way anyone would have known it was a Robin Hood movie.
The plot and characters were so generic and interchangeable. The whole thing clearly plays out for a sequel throughout the film. He meets The Sheriff Of Nottingham, Maid Merrian, and many characters from the classic Robin Hood story.
It has a reboot movie feel to it, like Batman Begins, but Robin Hood cant pull it off. There is no plot cohesion between the protagonist, antagonist, and main plot until the last 20 minutes of the movie.
In the end, it wound up like a combination of any "ye, olde tyme movie", Gladiator, and D-day. I don't give ratings to movies, but if you really want to see it, steal it from the net. THIS MOVIE SUCKS.
