Rather flat and grey in tone and mood, so lacks the sparkle of some other versions. Attempts to create an historical context that is almost believable but it doesn't really help as essentially Robin hnas to a mythical, heroic story.
Well acted and a great, feisty heroine in Cate. Dialogue can be hard to follow with background noise but it's more about action so you don't miss much. Overall worth watching to pass a pleasant couple of hours.
