Review of Robin Hood (2009) by Kate S — 05 Jun 2010
This is an interisting take on the Robin Hood Legend. What I found to make the film enjoyable is how the direct enjoys these close up facial shots. It adds some distortions to the character and not one ever feels hollywood beautiful more like grungy as people might have looked back in there time.
Its also nice to see little details in the movie that I never noticed before like how the Morgan Freeman is looking for the son to pray to Allah. How alot of the characters are wearing rags. Sure the movie might not be the best its an entertaining take that will not completely dissappear.
