Review of Robin Hood (2009) by Claire B — 16 Jul 2010

So I haven't seen this movie in years and the other night my wife and I were looking for something to watch. I remembered liking the film and asking if she had seen it. She said no, so I put it in.

Now the American born Costner is good as Robin, but not the greatest. It's the ensemble cast, most notibly Rickman and Freeman that make the film the most enjoyable. It's a great action film peppered with comedy from Rickman's crazy Sheriff.

There's also some pulling of the heart strings. Of course a few shock moments. All in all a very enjoyable film that I could watch over again.
