Kevin Costner plays Robin Hood well, and most of the supporting cast is fine. I particularly enjoyed McShane as Friar Tuck. The movie has a dark component to it, particularly with the witch Mortianna. The movie is not epic or anything that will stand the test of time, but it is good enough.
